Pennyminder

I have a part time startup called Pennyminder which I am developing to help couples, families, room mates and other small groups manage their finances. More information can be found on the home page.

Pennyminder has also developed a companion product called Chipped.In for those people who don't have need for a full Personal Finance Manager (PFM) instead needing something to track expenses on just a few projects or categories.

gShieldConf

gShieldConf was a GUI tool to edit the configuration files for the most excellent Linux firewall script, gShield. I've since purchased a linksys router and no longer use gShield, so I am no longer maintaining gShieldConf, but you can find more info on it's own page.

Kinzin

Kinzin.com was my day job. I was a senior rails developer there and I got to work on some really great projects using some great technologies. I learned lots about large scale web applications :). We developed a suite of family oriented social apps that help friends and families stay in touch and share memories in a safe and secure way,

Our first app was Kinzin Spaces which is a place for families to share stories, photos, recipes, etc in safe and private manner. Helping to keep everyone upto date on the happenings in their extended families.

Our next app was our first foray into Facebook development. It is a fun little quiz app called Are You Normal?

Our latest app is also Facebook app. It is a great tool for parents to use to keep everyone informed with what's happening with their children. It's called These Are My Kids (Will no longer be available :( ). It lets parents share photo, stories and other happenings about their kids in a private way. Only people the parents invite can see the children. One really great feature is that you don't even need Facebook account to access the space.

Besides this one I have developed a few other web sites as well.

I developed a site to warn people of the dangers of no house insurance after we lost my mothers house to a fire in November 2007. Please pass the link around and let everyone know to get some insurance.

And lastly I did our wedding site.
